The exiting Pushya Solar Transit had unleashed  Typhoon Nida ! The Sun's longitude touched 106 deg 40 minutes on 02082016 , initiating Aslesha  Njattuvela. There will be intermittent rains during Aslesha.

Sun moved over to 90 degrees, Cancer, initiating the Sacred Ramayana Masa on 16/07/2016  and Southern Solstice,  Dakshinayana  at 1015 AM. This Holy Period is good for detoxification and for Self Actualisation ! ( Detox of both body and mind is a must for SA ). Jupiter, the make or break planet, moves over, from Leo to Virgo, on Aug 11th in Hindu Astrology.

Daskhinayana - when Sun's longitude is in between 90 and 270.
Uttarayana - when Sun's longitude is in between 270 and 90.

While scientists explain hurricanes as the result of variations in temperature and pressure, we know it as the variations in the positions of the luminaries, Sun and Moon. Sun enters 93 degrees 20 minutes, the Saturnine Pushya constellation on 19th, at 1007 PM.

Vaishakha, a Holy Month for the Eternians.

On 07 May 2016, we have the second lunar month of Vaishakha, which is considered a Holy Month for the Eternians. Like the Vrischika Punya Masa, the month of Sidereal Scorpio, Vaishakha is full of esoteric significance. Vaishakha is the Lunar Month, when the Solar Ingress into Scorpio takes place, Vaishakhe Vrisha Sankranti. Guruvayur, the fourth largest pilgrim center in the world, becomes full of pilgrims.

The Baisakhi Festival, the beginning of the Punjabi Calendar bears close resemblance to Vaisakha. Also the Vaikaasi, the second lunar month in the Tamil Calendar. It is called Pohela Boisakh in Bengal and Bohag Bihu in Assam.

Water Conservation Technologies

Heat has gone upto 39.8 degrees here in Kerala. It is more in TN and other sites.

We had warned in our columns about Water Management flaws. Now  many parts of India are facing drought.

Kala Varsha will set in when the longitude of the Sun touches 45 degrees and not before. Today it is the 12th Rising ( Sun at 12 degrees in the 360 degrees Zodiac ).

If we dont formulate a Water Policy, especially for protecting the paddy fields ( which act as Nature's water reservoirs ), we are doomed. By 2050, India may run out of water, due to the burgeoning population ! Unless stringent measures are brought in to control population and destruction of water reservoirs, trees and plants, conservation of forests et al, India will have to face the Music !

It is the difference in Philosophy which is responsible for this impasse. While Hindu Philosophy advocates Conservation of water reservoirs, forest lands and Prakriti in general, the anti paganists revere only the Creator and not Nature, which they say is Created !

Philosophy advocates reverence of both Purusha and Prakriti, while dogmatic theologies revere only the Creator !

So the Secularists, due to the influence of Anti Paganism, are responsible for India's present plight.

The UN had warned about depleting water resouces, population explosion and declining water tables earlier !

Hindu Secularism and Socialism !

The PM's visit to Trichur marked the Rise of the Third Front in Kerala.

The Pooram ground became a virtual sea of people. The PM spoke for almost one hour. Once the ceremony was over, it rained heavily for one hour.

Now Pseudo Secularism will be replaced by Hindu Secularism. India is secular, because 72% are believers in Hindu Secularism. If 72% belonged to an evangelist, proselytising community, India wont be secular. Secularism is an Upanishadic concept, as we look on all as brothers and sisters, irrespective of caste, creed or religion ( Vasudha eva Kudumbakam )  !

Pseudo Socialism will be replaced by Hindu Socialism. The majority community in India have compassion for the have nots and the Nationalist Govt has announced many schemes for the downtrodden.

Chathopadyaya's book " The Marxist Brahman" is worth reading ! It integrates Marxism and Vedanta ! Socialism is also an Indian concept, as the Rishies declared  that "Annam Brahma"  or "Padartham Brahma", Matter is Brahman and that the materialistic life is not to be shunned. Doesnt the Upanishadic equation, Samathvam Yoga Uchyathe ( or Samam Brahma ) smack of Socialism ?

Aurobindo integrated both Dialectial Materialism of Marx and the Dialectical Idealism of Hegel and formulated Dialectical Integralism !
